Asus releases Chromebook CX15 bundle with Google AI Pro and 5 TB cloud storage

More than a year after introducing the Chromebook CX15 lineup, Asus has refreshed one retail configuration by adding a three-month Google AI Pro membership. The update brings Gemini Advanced and extra Google One cloud storage without changing the laptop's design.
The Chromebook features Intel's N50 Processor with 8 GB of LPDDR5 memory and 128 GB of eMMC storage. It runs ChromeOS with access to Android apps through the Google Play Store, along with Google's automatic software and security updates.
It comes with a 15.6-inch Full HD (1,920 × 1,080) NanoEdge display with an anti-glare finish, 300 nits of brightness and an 87% screen-to-body ratio. The company also lists US MIL-STD-810H durability certification, a Titan C security chip and a physical webcam privacy shutter among the standard features.
For connectivity, the Chromebook supports Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4. It also includes two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C ports with DisplayPort and Power Delivery support, one USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A port, HDMI 1.4, a 3.5 mm audio jack, and a Kensington lock slot. Asus rates the 42 Wh battery for up to 12.5 hours of use.

It weighs 3.5 lb (1.59 kg) and is available in a Pure Grey finish.
Asus is selling the Chromebook CX15 (CX1505CTA-S70293) for ₹47,990 (around US$500) in India. It is available through the Asus eShop, and other authorized retailers. The company has not shared plans for other markets yet.
