Lenovo's next ThinkBook could be its slimmest laptop yet

Lenovo's upcoming ThinkBook Aeroblade has appeared in leaked images. The laptop features an ultra-thin chassis, a redesigned keyboard and dual USB-C ports, but Lenovo has not yet confirmed the device or its specifications.

The ThinkBook's most unusual feature is a small raised section on the left side. It houses two USB Type-C ports and what appears to be a microphone opening. Making a laptop thinner often means compromising on ports, as we've seen with Apple's MacBook Air.

Instead of making the entire chassis thicker, Lenovo seems to have increased the height only around the ports, allowing the rest of the laptop to remain exceptionally slim.

From the side, the ThinkBook Aeroblade appears only slightly thicker than a standard USB-C connector. If the leaked design reaches production unchanged, it could become one of the slimmest ThinkBook laptops Lenovo has released.

The rest of the notebook keeps Lenovo's familiar ThinkBook styling. The leaked images show slim display bezels, a raised webcam housing, the company's two-tone lid, a large touchpad, and a flatter keyboard than current ThinkBook models.

The Aeroblade name is another unanswered question. While it appears throughout the leaked material, the laptop itself only carries standard ThinkBook branding. It remains unclear whether Aeroblade will be the final product name, a new product family, or simply an internal codename.

The leak focuses almost entirely on the design. Details about the processor, display, battery, memory, and storage are still unknown. One visible feature is a dedicated Copilot key, indicating that the notebook will come with Windows 11.

Lenovo has not announced when the ThinkBook Aeroblade will debut. Recent reports point to a possible unveiling around IFA 2026, although the company has not confirmed those plans.
