Lenovo releases new 14-inch laptop internationally with Intel Wildcat Lake, 32 GB RAM and over 20 hours of battery life
Earlier this month, we reviewed Lenovo's IdeaPad Slim 3 with a 15-inch display and Intel Wildcat Lake processors. A less powerful alternative to the IdeaPad Slim 3 15IPH11 (curr. $1,199 on Amazon), the IdeaPad Slim 3 15IWC11 offered respectable battery life and decent performance per-watt, among other tricks up its sleeve.
Now, a smaller 14-inch alternative has joined the IdeaPad Slim 3 15IWC11 internationally. Generally speaking, the IdeaPad Slim 3 14IWC11 starts with the Core 3 304, Core 5 315 or Core 5 320 and 8 GB of RAM. The more powerful Core 7 350 is configurable in some markets too, as is 32 GB of DDR5-5600 RAM and 1 TB of storage.
Moreover, one can configure the IdeaPad Slim 3 14IWC11 with a 60 Wh battery instead of its 50 Wh default. Reportedly, these batteries last 19 hours and 21 hours, respectively, when locally playing 1080p videos at 150 nits. At the time of writing, the 14-inch laptop is available across Australia, East Asia, Southeast Asia, the UK and parts of Europe. However, the PSREF website reveals that a full global launch is coming later this year.
For context, Lenovo already sells the IdeaPad Slim 3 14IPH11 with Panther Lake processors. At the time of writing, Lenovo charges £970 (~$1,296) with Panther Lake processors. Despite being less powerful, the IdeaPad Slim 3 14IWC11 starts at £1,000 (~$1,336) with the Core 3 315, 16 GB of RAM, 512 GB of storage and an IPS display. Meanwhile, the laptop costs at least AUD 1,449, HKD 7,500, €1,199, MYR 3,460 and SGD 1,331 (~$1,032) in Australia, Hong Kong, the Eurozone, Malaysia and Singapore, respectively.
