Lenovo Yoga 9n 2-in-1 brings RTX Spark hardware to a 16-inch OLED convertible.

Lenovo is expanding its Yoga lineup with the Yoga 9 2-in-1. It arrives alongside the Yoga Pro 9n. Despite similar-sounding names, the laptops are remarkably different. For starters, the laptop features a slightly larger 16-inch touch-enabled OLED display with a 2,880 x 1,800 resolution, 16:10 aspect ratio and a variable refresh rate spanning 30 Hz to 120 Hz. Peak HDR brightness is rated at 1,100 nits, while Lenovo claims 100% coverage of both the sRGB and P3 colour spaces with a Delta E of less than 1. The panel also carries Dolby Vision, VESA DisplayHDR True Black 1000, Pantone and Pantone SkinTone validation, Eyesafe 2.0 and TÜV Flicker Free certifications.

Under the hood, the Yoga 9 2-in-1 uses Nvidia's RTX Spark platform, combining a Grace CPU with up to 20 cores and a Blackwell RTX GPU featuring up to 6,144 CUDA cores. The system can be configured with up to 64 GB of 9,400 MHz LPDDR5X memory, half the amount supported by the Yoga Pro 9n. Storage tops out at a 2 TB PCIe Gen 4 QLC SSD in the M.2 2242 form factor. A second SSD slot is not available, so that’s pretty much all you can get.

The Lenovo Yoga 9 2-in-1 comes with a 99.9 Wh battery. It is paired with a 140 W adapter. Lenovo claims a fifteen-minute charge is good for three hours of use. Connectivity options include two 40 Gbps USB4 ports with USB Power Delivery and DP 2.1 functionalities, two 10 Gbps USB-A ports, an HDMI 2.1 port, a UHS-I SD card reader and a 3.5 mm headset jack. Wireless connectivity is handled by Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.

The Yoga 9n 2-in-1 also gets a six-speaker Dolby Atmos audio system with two 2 W tweeters and four 2 W woofers. Two tweeters are integrated into the rotating soundbar. A 9.2 MP MIPI IR camera handles video calls and Windows Hello authentication. Lenovo also lists Dynamic Force Feedback and a haptic Force Pad with pen support. The Yoga Pen uses AES 3.0 technology and supports tilt sensitivity, palm rejection, customisable buttons and extended hover functionality, while its magnetic carrying case doubles as a stand.

Lastly, the laptop's aluminium chassis measures 360 x 243.1 x 17.5 mm and weighs 1.94 kg—not ideal for a 2-in-1 laptop but presumably necessitated by the beefy hardware it packs. Lenovo will offer the Yoga 9 2-in-1 in Cosmic Blue with Windows 11. Pricing and availability have not yet been announced.
