Final Fantasy 7 Revelation Collector's Edition $350 pre-order includes 2 story DLCs

The PlayStation State of Play concluded by featuring the third entry in the FF7 remake trilogy. Viewers learned the release date for Revelation is April 8th, 2027, and now pre-order details have emerged. The Final Fantasy 7 Revelation Collector’s Edition is raising eyebrows for its lofty price and exclusive DLC content.

Square Enix’s store highlights what gamers will receive for the $350 Collector’s Edition. Available on the PS5, Xbox, and Switch 2, this option includes physical discs or, likely, a Game-Key Card for Nintendo fans. Buyers can pre-order this configuration, but quantities are limited.

Other tangible items consist of a Steelbook case and an artbook. A trio of Cloud, Zack, and Sephiroth statues pays tribute to characters from Final Fantasy 7 Revelation. The figures range from 6.7 to 7.9 inches high and weigh between 305 and 380 grams. Finally, physical media supporters will appreciate a CD-based soundtrack.

Not surprisingly, the $350 SKU comes with a heavy dose of digital content. Players may use the Mecha-Chocobo & Moogle or Polydroid Alexander materia to summon robotic assistants. A Nymphwing Bracelet and Risk Taker's Choker replenish MP or HP during or after battles.

Revelation's world becomes even larger

What’s drawing the most attention is the Story Expansion Pass, which is exclusively bundled with the Final Fantasy 7 Revelation Collector’s Edition. Details are scarce for the 2 DLC, although a Steam listing provides some hints. Sephiroth and Vincent & the Turks should arrive between winter 2027 and Spring 2028.

Presumably, gamers will be able to purchase this content separately. Notably, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth didn’t see any expansion to its narrative. However, many Remake Intergrade players enjoyed INTERmission as a side tale focusing on Yuffie Kisaragi.

If the most expensive package is too intimidating, the Square Enix store has the $99.99 Deluxe Edition for pre-order. It ships many of the same physical items, like the Steelbook, artbook, and soundtrack CD. By the Revelation release date, PS5, Xbox, and Switch 2 owners can again expect discs or cartridges.
