Leaked photos hint at a GTA 6 Collector's Edition and physical disc pre-orders

Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick promised that Rockstar’s latest game would launch with a “big physical component.” Yet GTA 6 pre-orders missing Xbox or PS5 discs have disappointed many buyers. While a new leak is drawing skepticism, it depicts what could be an unannounced Collector’s Edition.
What's in the black box?
On social media, pics (not shown here) emerged from a poster who claims to be a Unique Services Group worker. The Mexican company specializes in graphics, printing, and packaging. Similar to the GTA 5 configuration aimed at enthusiasts, gamers see a basic black box adorned with logos for the title and Vice City Leonida.
The alleged employee says that the packaging is larger than containers used for PS5 consoles. Additionally, the individual described a “circular piece” to protect a physical disc. They later downplayed that possibility but insist that the photos are authentic. Fearing legal action from Take-Two or Rockstar, the leaked images have now been deleted.
At this stage, many fans doubt that a Collector’s Edition will surface ahead of the November 19th release date. GTA 6 pre-order sales began in late June with digital and code-in-box $79.99 Standard Edition SKUs. Alternatively, buyers can choose the $99.99 Ultimate Edition, bundling bonus in-game items. Even after the Netflix Extended Look trailer, marketing didn’t mention a third version.
Potential Grand Theft Auto 6 trinkets
If there is a surprise before or after launch, Rockstar may follow the Red Dead Redemption 2 model. The Collector’s Box for the open-world western stored physical goodies like a metal lockbox, coin, and treasure map. Notably, the studio sold this edition without a disc or digital code.
Given its significant size, the leaked GTA 6 Collector’s Edition could store anything from clothing to a SteelBook case. Besides an Xbox or PS5 Blu-ray, a paper map of Leonida would be a desired extra.
Until an official pre-order announcement, gamers should be skeptical of the photos. Some observers believe they display the outside of a GTA 6 influencer or press kit rather than a future retail option.
