Asus has revealed more details about its next MacBook Pro 16 rival. Launching before the end of 2026, the new ProArt P16 combines a 99 Wh battery, 240 W charging, a 4K Tandem OLED display, up to 128 GB RAM and a 20-core Nvidia RTX Spark processor.

Asus has finally revealed more details about its next ProArt P16 laptop. Unveiled in April, the ProArt P16 (H7607) replaces the AMD processor and Nvidia dGPU from older models with what Nvidia now terms its RTX Spark Superchip.

For instance, the company clarifies that its new 16-inch laptop will be available in two OLED display configurations:

  • 2,880 x 1,800 pixels, 120 Hz VRR, 500 nits SDR, 1,100 nits HDR
  • 3,840 x 2,400 pixels, 120 Hz VRR, 700 nits SDR, 1,600 nits HDR (Tandem OLED)

Previously, Asus equipped the ProArt P16 with the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 proceossor and a host of Nvidia RTX 50 series laptop GPUs. By contrast, the H7607 generation combines a 20-core CPU with an iGPU featuring 6,144 CUDA cores.

The ProArt P16 (H7607) weighs 1.77 kg and measures 354 x 243 x 13~16 mm.

In that sense, the latest ProArt P16 only surpasses the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti in terms of CUDA core count. However, the older ProArt P16 is also available with the more powerful GeForce RTX 5080 and GeForce RTX 5090, the latter of which we have reviewed (curr. $6,199 on Amazon).

Additionally, Asus has clarified that the new ProArt P16 will be sold with 24 GB, 32 GB, 48 GB, 64 GB or 128 GB of LPDDR5X unified memory. Moreover, it will complement these RAM options with 512 GB, 1 TB or 2 TB of PCIe 4.0 storage.

On top of that, the 16-inch laptop contains dual M.2 2280 slots that support up to PCIe 5.0 x4 SSDs. All SKUs ship with a 99.9 Wh battery that supports 240 W charging over its trio of Type 4 Gen 3 ports, too. Pricing and availability remain unknown at this stage beyond a previous commitment to a launch in 'fall 2026'.
