New 15-inch Lenovo gaming laptop receives wider international release with global launch confirmed
Lenovo has quietly expanded the availability of one of its budget-oriented gaming laptops to more markets. Earlier this month, the company released the LOQ Essential 15IRH11 in Hong Kong with Raptor Lake-H processors. In short, these processors put the new 15-inch laptop behind the existing LOQ Essential 15IRX11 in Lenovo's LOQ lineup (curr. $1,399 on Amazon).
Now, Lenovo has started offering the LOQ Essential 15IRH11 across Oceania, Southeast Asia and more parts of East Asia. Specifically, the 15-inch laptop can now be purchased in Australia, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore and New Zealand, all with the choice between Intel's Core 5 205H and Core 7 230H processors. Additionally, one can choose two versions of the GeForce RTX 3050 laptop GPU, which Nvidia distinguishes with 4 GB and 6 GB of VRAM.
Currently, pricing starts at AUD 2,029, JPY 183,680, MYR 5,069, SGD 1,661 and NZD 2,549 (~$1,521) in Australia, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore and New Zealand, respectively. Typically, these prices include a Core 5 205H, an RTX 3050 (4 GB), 8 GB of RAM, a 512 GB SSD, a 60 Wh battery and a 165 Hz IPS display. Alternatively, one can configure up to 32 GB of RAM, a 1 TB SSD and the aforementioned RTX 3050 (6 GB) GPU. A 300-nit and 1200p display comes with all SKUS though, as does a 60 Wh battery.
For the time being, Lenovo has not listed the LOQ Essential 15IRH11 elsewhere. However, the company has confirmed that the 15-inch laptop will reach Europe at the end of September. Currently, the company has only mentioned a €1,299 (~$1,516) starting price including taxes. Based on its PSREF website, multiple configurations will reach parts of Europe, though. Incidentally, PSREF also confirms that a full global launch is coming, too.
