Xbox reveals playable Gamescom 2026 lineup

Microsoft has confirmed its Xbox booth and its official lineup for Gamescom 2026, which will be in Hall 7, at booth A-0.61, in the Koelnmesse exhibition center in Cologne, Germany.
The setup marks Xbox's 25th anniversary and includes 140 gaming stations offering hands-on demos across 25 upcoming titles, running August 26 to 30 alongside the main show. The booth also includes interactive displays revisiting moments, games, and innovations from across Xbox's history.
Playable lineup and developer details
The Xbox booth brings together first-party projects from Xbox Game Studios alongside major third-party partners. Confirmed playable titles include Playground Games' Fable and The Coalition's Gears of War: E-Day, both published under Xbox Game Studios. Mojang Studios and Double Eleven's Minecraft Dungeons II, also published by Xbox Game Studios, rounds out the first-party lineup on show.
Third-party games confirmed for the booth include Infinity Ward's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, published by Activision, Creative Assembly's Alien: Isolation 2, published by Sega, and 4A Games' Metro 2039, published by Deep Silver. Stranger Than Heaven is also playable on the show floor, alongside further titles Xbox has yet to detail in full. On-site development teams will be present throughout the week to walk players through demo builds and answer questions, and a live Fable demo theater from Playground Games will offer an extended look at the game's combat.
The booth will include accessibility provisions such as wheelchair access, Xbox Adaptive Controllers, adjustable-height desks and monitors, a quiet room for reduced sensory gaming, and interpreters for American Sign Language, British Sign Language, and German Sign Language. Xbox FanFest returns to the booth on Wednesday, August 26, from 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm CEST.
Livestream schedule
For remote viewers unable to attend in Cologne, Xbox will host two live broadcasts from its booth stage on Wednesday, August 26, and Thursday, August 27. Both streams begin at 7:00 am PDT, 10:00 am EDT, and 4:00 pm CEST and will feature extended gameplay footage, new announcements, and developer interviews.
These broadcasts follow Geoff Keighley's Gamescom Opening Night Live premiere, which opens the week on Tuesday, August 25.
