The Mayhem Collection DLC for LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight launches September 18 with a playable Joker and Harley Quinn campaign. Here's what's confirmed.

Warner Bros. Games and developer TT Games debuted the gameplay trailer for the latest LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight DLC during Gamescom 2026. The expansion launches September 18, 2026, adding a villain-led story campaign starring The Joker and Harley Quinn to the open-world Gotham City of Legacy of the Dark Knight. Gamescom 2026 runs August 26 to 30 in Cologne, and attendees can get a sneak preview of the DLC at the LEGO booth ahead of its release.

Playable villain campaign and new Gotham content

The centerpiece is a new story mission that shifts focus away from the Bat family. Players control The Joker and Harley Quinn as the pair break out of Arkham Asylum, then take on Mayhem Mode, a villain-focused activity built around causing chaos across the city. Warner Bros. Games has not detailed Mayhem Mode's full structure yet, though newly listed Steam achievements hint at additional systems, including a shop run by the "Joker-Mite" and a mode referred to as Mayhem Runs.

The DLC also adds the Sinister Pack, expanding cosmetic options with seven new suits, one for each of the base game's original playable characters. The exact designs have not been revealed. The pack also includes a new Batmobile and five Batcave customization props, alongside twelve new achievements overall.

Launch across current-gen platforms and Switch 2

The Mayhem Collection releases globally on September 18 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, and Nintendo Switch 2, where the base game launches the same day with a physical exclusive minifigure. Deluxe Edition owners get automatic access at no extra cost. Standard Edition owners on PS5, Xbox, and PC can upgrade to the Deluxe Edition for $24.99 / £21.99, which unlocks both the Mayhem Collection and the existing Legacy Collection.

The reveal also marks the first time TT Games has handed players full control of Batman's rogues gallery in LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, having kept the roster limited to Batman and his allies since launch.

This marks the first paid post-launch DLC for LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, which released in May 2026 to a Metacritic score in the mid-80s and has continued expanding its open-world Gotham with themed content packs since launch. Nintendo Switch 2 preorders for both the standard edition ($69.99) and the deluxe edition ($89.99) are open now ahead of the September 18 console launch.
