JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Spirit adds SSR Jotaro banner

Publishers KLab Games and Wanda Cinemas Games have launched the first limited-time event for JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Spirit, introducing an SSR Jotaro Kujo summon banner alongside a dedicated Stardust Crusaders story chapter. The event arrives days after the game's worldwide launch on August 13, developed by Hoolai Game Limited, and brings tactical 11-panel grid battles and Rush skill combos to mobile strategy players.

Grid positioning, weather, and Rush combos drive tactical encounters

Combat centers on positioning units across an 11-panel tactical grid built around two design pillars the developers call "Wit" and "Combat." Wit governs matchup counterplay, rewarding players for exploiting enemy weaknesses, such as Ripple users dealing bonus damage to zombie and vampire enemies. Combat governs skill synergies between paired characters. Battles unfold automatically while players manage the timing of characters' ultimate skills. Fights introduce a dynamic weather system spanning 18 battlefield conditions, including fog, sandstorms, rain, and blizzards, that directly alter Stand's attack range, damage, and speed during combat encounters.

Managing team synergy revolves around triggering Rush mode. Every unit belongs to one of six fighting styles, each carrying its own passive effect. When three deployed units with distinct fighting styles unleash their ultimates in sequence, the following unit gains a 25 percent final damage boost and immediately restores a portion of its energy bar. Successful team building requires balancing tanks, healers, and damage dealers to maintain continuous Rush triggers.

Dramatic scenes, set bonuses and gacha pity thresholds detailed

Unit customization relies on two gear systems unlocked through story progression. Players equip four-slot directional badges, where matching skills across equipped badges raise that skill's overall level; badges can be promoted through higher rarity tiers and unlock gem sockets for additional skills at three-star rank. Alongside these sit Dramatic Scenes, which span five quality tiers and grant passive attribute bonuses. Equipping matching Excellent or Outstanding tier Dramatic Scenes unlocks set bonuses that scale when two to four identical pieces are worn together.

The launch banner system features a guaranteed beginner SSR unit within the first 30 recruitment pulls. Standard recruitment pools offer a guaranteed random SSR unit at 60 pulls, while reaching 180 pulls grants a character selection token allowing players to choose any available SSR character directly from the pool.
