Xbox reveals first September Game Pass wave with 8 additions

Xbox has revealed the first wave of titles coming to Xbox Game Pass in September 2026, headlined by the co-op survival title RuneScape: Dragonwilds and the day-one launch of SpeedRunners 2: King of Speed. PC, console, cloud, and handheld platforms get a bunch of new titles, alongside early access trials and member perks. Here's what's in store: 

The early September lineup introduces a mix of casual simulation, competitive platforming, roguelike strategy, and campaign action. Shelldiver is based on catching and selling jellyfish as a turtle. On the other hand, SpeedRunners 2: King of Speed is more fast-paced and has you compete in cutthroat online races with grappling hooks for up to eight players. Strategy enthusiasts can build custom bags of dice to roll high numbers in the roguelike deck builder Dice a Million, while action fans can experience Raven Software’s globe-trotting Cold War campaign in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.

The current Game Pass lineup has something for everyone. The Royal Writ is a tactical roguelike where deployed troop cards can face permanent death. Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage brings a host of new features such as cross-play, rollback netcode, and an all-new single-player World Stage campaign to the 3D fighting series. RuneScape: Dragonwilds will have you teaming up with your friends to gather, build, and craft on the continent of Ashenfall and eventually beat the Dragon Queen. Finally, TCG Card Shop Simulator graduates and finally gets its 1.0 launch, allowing players to run their own shop, build custom decks, and host Tetramon TCG tournaments. Lastly, EA Play subscribers also get a ten-hour trial for EA Sports NHL 27.
