A new year brings fresh speculation about whether GTA 6 will suffer a third delay. Tom Henderson of Insider Gaming believes that the Rockstar Games project should arrive in November 2026. On a recent podcast, Henderson said, “I think Rockstar is confident enough that it will release this year.” Several co-casters also made predictions about the expected GTA 6 price.
The insider didn’t claim to have a source, but has correctly forecasted past developments. Henderson has been consistently optimistic that the GTA 6 release date will not be postponed again. Despite the latest unhappy news in November, he claimed that the game was “content ready” at the time. Henderson denied reports that the studio encountered roadblocks during development.
Rockstar Games has preferred to ship titles in a finished state rather than relying on post-release patches. Still, the dismissal of 30+ employees accused of leaks has raised red flags. Even if the firings have a minimal impact, reports suggest the company remains plagued by internal tension.
Details on GTA 6 pricing and PC release are scarce
The Insider Gaming podcast also discussed how much the game might cost when it finally surfaces. Mike Straw thinks that even if most AAA releases have resisted an $80 price, buyers may pay a premium in this case. Other analysts have predicted $100 for the base option. Even so, Straw foresees editions with additional content and bonuses ranging from $100 to $300 as more likely.
Desktop and laptop gamers would be most affected by another GTA 6 release date delay. Henderson and his co-casters didn’t share any updates on an earlier-than-anticipated arrival. A PC port launching in 2027, about a year after the console versions, seems the most probable.
The panel has concerns that November 19th could cripple servers worldwide. Fans have called for Rockstar to allow downloads well before the official launch to mitigate these issues. Buyers have yet to hear any news about the company’s pre-order plans for the game.
