Battlefield 6 is said to release early October, much sooner than anticipated since EA had given a pre-March 2026 timeline. If the latest leak is true, the game will set players back €70 on PC and €80 on consoles.

Tomorrow, June 24, will mark the official reveal for Battlefield 6 but at this point, a lot has already leaked about the game. There is leaked gameplay footage, as well as details about classes, game modes, battle royale mode, and more. Now, a new leak hints at the release date and pricing for the game on PC and console, as well as the different versions that will be available for purchase.

The information comes from Dealabs and if accurate, Battlefield 6 will be available in a Standard Edition and a Phantom Edition. The Standard Edition will be priced at €70 on PC and €80 on consoles. The Phantom Edition, on the other hand, will cost €100 on PC and €110 on consoles. Gamers who purchase the Standard Edition will also be able to upgrade to the Phantom Edition for €30. Whether it will be the same amount in dollars or a converted amount remains to be seen.

The Phantom Edition is said to be similar to a Deluxe Edition with only a digital copy of the game and additional in-game content. There will not be any early access for those who purchase the Phantom Edition.

As for the release date, the report claims that Battlefield 6 will release on October 10. This is much sooner than what EA had originally planned for the game. According to the timeline shared by the company, Battlefield 6 was set to release before March 2026 with a reveal in summer. While that does fall in line with the rumored October release date, it wasn’t expected to be this soon.

An open beta was also recently announced but no date was given. Speculation suggests that it could be on August 4 and that several content creators have received invites for an event on July 29. This means influencers and content creators will get hands on with the game from July 29 or July 30 and the general public will get to play the open beta from early August, if the rumors are true.
