Abxylute recently announced a new product called the Abxylute E1, which is a retro gaming handheld device. It arrives as Abxylute's fourth handheld, after the Abxylute One; its Logitech G Cloud rival, the Abxylute One Pro; and the Abxylute 3D One. Priced at $69, the Abxylute E1 joins the list of sub-$100 handhelds announced this year.
For those with keen eyes or anyone who has been following the handheld space very closely, the design of the Abxylute E1 should be familiar. Anyway, for those who don't know, Abxylute's new handheld has the same design as the Game Console RX6H, a retro gaming handheld that was announced back in late February. However, while both handhelds have the same design and even some specifications, the Abxylute E1 can be described as an upgraded version of the Game Console RX6H.
Unlike the RX6H which has 1GB of RAM and is powered by the Rockchip RK3326, the Abxylute E1 has 2GB of RAM and the more powerful Rockchip RK3566 processor. While both are quad-core processors, the RK3566 features Cortex-A55 CPU cores while the RK3326 has the less-powerful Cortex-A35 cores. The extra RAM and more powerful CPU cores should result in better performance on the Abxylute E1.
Save for these differences and the different operating systems, the rest of the technical specifications are the same. Both handhelds have a 3.5-inch 640 x 480 non-touch LCD, stereo speakers, a 3,000mAh battery capacity, and the same buttons and port arrangements.
The RX6H is currently available for $63.39 on Amazon and comes with a 64GB SD card. However, at that price, you are better off purchasing the Abxylute E1 for $69. However, if you want to save money, the RX6H can be purchased for $36.93 on AliExpress.
