Realme has announced that its next-gen mid-range Android smartphones will launch as a series of inaugural Professional AI Camera Smartphones. The OEM has hinted that the 13 Pro 5G series w ill also launch with the latest take on the premium design of its forebears, albeit seemingly in new colors and with new branding for its signature camera hump.

Realme has lost no time in getting ahead of recent leaks by confirming that its current crop of "top rated camera smartphones" will be supplanted by next-gen successors very soon.

It looks like the 12 Pro series' design will endure in spirit, however, as Realme already hints at more diamond-cut bezels for round camera humps in their successors. Then again, it seems their new HyperImage+ branding might leave them looking a little more like the Huawei Mate X3 from the back.

Realme has also revealed that the 13 Pro and, presumably, 13 Pro+ are coming for the OPPO Reno12 series by launching as India's "First Professional AI Camera Smartphones". The devices are also currently rumored to come with faster charging, newer silicon and Android 14 out of the box.

Then again, Realme has yet to set a date for its 13 Pro 5G Series launch event, or to even hint at how much they will cost. For context, the 12 Pro 5G line started at ~INR 30,000 (~$360), although it currently starts at INR 24,950 (~$299) on Amazon.in.
