Abxylute's Joy-Con 2-style controllers for Nintendo Switch 2 have TMR joysticks, RGB, and more for $89

Earlier this year, Abxylute released the N9C and N6 controllers for the Nintendo Switch 2. While both controllers replace the Switch 2's Joy-Con 2 controllers, they are deck controllers that connect via the Switch 2's USB-C port. Abxylute has now released the J8 Joy-Con controller for those who want detachable Joy-Con-style controllers.

The J8 Joy-Con pair of controllers have full-size grips for better ergonomics, TMR joysticks, mechanical triggers, mechanical D-pad and ABXY buttons, and a native C Button. The controllers also have 9-axis motion control, turbo buttons on each controller that work independently, and programmable back buttons like the Nintendo Switch 2 Pro controller.

Abxylute adds that the dual rumble motors have adjustable vibration and the magnetic face plates are replaceable. There are alsocustomizable RGB lighting around the thumbsticks, D-pad, and ABXY buttons. The controllers have native support for the Switch 2 including one-button wake-up.

Each controller has a 500mAh battery capacity, like the Joy-Con 2 controllers, but weighs 91.8 grams, which is noticeably heavier than the Joy-Con 2's 66/67 grams.

The Abxylute J8 Joy-Con controllers for the Nintendo Switch 2 are priced at $99, but are currently available for $89 on the official website. So, not only do they pack more features than Nintendo's Joy-Con 2 controllers (available on Amazon for $98), they are also cheaper. Abxylute is taking orders for the controllers now and says they will ship this month.
