Deal | RTX 5090, 64 GB DDR5: HP Omen gaming PC scores gigantic $2,200 discount

It would be safe to say that gamers on the lookout for a new PC or build are well aware of the insanity surrounding component prices. However, it appears that those who are looking for a truly high-end build and are willing to pay top dollar for one might be able to save themselves quite a lot of money by going the pre-built route.

To be more specific, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090-powered HP Omen 45L gaming desktop is now available with a massive $2,200 discount on HP's official US store.

This brings the price down to around $4,800, which, interestingly enough, is less than the price of a Gigabyte RTX 5090 WindForce alone (currently $4,899 on Amazon).

The gaming PC also sports the 24-core Intel Core Ultra 9 285K CPU, a whopping 64 GB of DDR5-5600 RAM, and a 2 TB SSD. Tom's Hardware, who spotted this deal, also had the fortune of being able to review the aforementioned HP Omen 45L in question.

According to TH's detailed review, the HP pre-built gaming PC performs very admirably and should be able to satiate the performance appetite of almost any high-end desktop gamer. The Omen 45L sports an attractive case with lots of RGB lighting elements, fitted with a 360 mm AIO cooler. Triple ARGB 120 mm case fans are also present. 

Courtesy of a generous power envelope and decent cooling, it was found that the gaming PC stays comparatively quiet while also managing to defeat some of its competitors in the same segment. In simpler terms, even gamers who have a negative view of pre-built PCs, will likely be perfectly satisfied with the HP Omen 45L. 

Like any standard gaming tower, the HP Omen is easily upgradable. It's worth noting that the second M.2 slot, which happens to be a Gen 4 unit, cannot be reached without removing the graphics card first. The I/O on offer is very healthy and has been detailed below.
