PlayStation's really blue DualSense controller is coming to the UK

Last October, PlayStation released a special edition DualSense controller that was available in select markets. Now, it has announced that the controller, which is officially sold as the Icon Blue Special Edition DualSense controller, will be available in the UK.

Posting on X, the official PlayStation UK account has revealed that the Icon Blue Special Edition DualSense controller will be available to pre-order starting on August 27 on direct.playstation.com. However, PS Plus members will get a headstart as they will be able to pre-order the controller on August 25.

The post has also revealed that the Icon Blue Special Edition DualSense controller will be released a month later, on September 25. Unfortunately, the price hasn't been revealed yet. Although we presume it will cost £74.99, which is the price tag for limited/special edition DualSense controllers (available on Amazon) such as the Marvel’s Wolverine Adamantium Limited Edition.

The Icon Blue Special Edition DualSense controller has a dual-tone design. The touchpad, which is decorated with glossy PlayStation icons, and the thumbsticks are a lighter shade of blue, while the handles and the back are a darker shade. The controller also has the word “PlayStation” written in Katakana on the back, while the D-pad and action buttons have white markings that beautifully contrast the blue buttons.
