Deal | This post-apocalyptic city builder, with 70% positive reviews on Steam, is 70% off

Paradox Interactive released Surviving the Aftermath, a post-apocalyptic city builder, on Steam on November 16, 2021. You must build and develop your colony to try to uncover the truth about this world, which was ravaged by a disaster.
Survive and thrive in a world where civilization has been reduced to dust. You are among the last survivors, and you’ll need to build and upgrade more than 130 buildings to develop your colony. You can also recruit more than 80 specialists. Each one has unique abilities and motivations. But the fate of your colony depends on your choices and ambitions.
You can then send them out to explore the procedurally generated world around you. Meet or confront rival leaders to trade with them or plunder their resources. You can also build outposts to protect your colony from potential dangers. However, unpredictable climate events can occur, and you'll need to be prepared for any eventuality.

Currently available for $8.99 instead of $29.99 until August 24, 2026, according to SteamDB, Surviving the Aftermath has received mostly positive reviews, with 70% of its 4,564 reviews being positive. Indeed, players have praised its features and gameplay, which blends survival, strategy, and management. It’s also a game that can be quite lengthy, depending on your playstyle. However, the storyline has disappointed players, as it lacks originality and depth. Some players have also found the gameplay repetitive, and several unfixed bugs have been reported.
