Sony unveils limited edition of Marvel's Wolverine PS5 consoles and controllers

Sony has unveiled a Marvel's Wolverine-themed lineup for PS5, set to launch alongside Insomniac Games' new action title. The highlight is a PS5 Digital Edition bundle in black and yellow, with claw marks on the shell that expose the console's internals. A matching DualSense controller carries the same black-and-yellow scheme, also complete with claw- and scuff marks. These can be seen in the promo video below:

Existing PS5 owners are also not left out: Battle Yellow console covers will be offered for both the standard PS5 and PS5 Pro, while another PS5 Pro cover features a metallic Adamantium design inspired by the fictional, indestructible metal alloy that is Wolverine’s skeleton and claws. A matching Adamantium DualSense controller will also be available.

However, Sony does not give a specific unit count for this "limited edition," only stating that the bundle and accessories will be "in limited quantities" upon launch. Pre-orders for the limited-edition hardware and accessories will begin August 19, with availability starting on September 15, when Marvel’s Wolverine launches.
