War Thunder 2.33 "Air Superiority" unleashes new top-tier jets, rank VIII ground vehicles, and more

Dubbed "Air Superiority" and released earlier today, War Thunder 2.33 comes with top-tier jets across several tech trees, but its most important change is the introduction of rank VIII ground vehicles, with quite a few top-tier modern tanks from the USA, Russia, China, or the UK. 

Alongside the new jets such as the iconic F-15A, the Mirage 4000 prototype, Saab JAS 39A Gripen, or the Su-27, this update also comes with a 3D model update for the entire PBY-5/5a lineup and a cockpit update for the Firefly FR Mk.V.

The list of top-tier ground vehicles, in addition to a few former rank VII ones that have been moved up, includes the M1A2 SEP2, T-90M, Challenger 3 (TD), Leopard 2A7V, VT-4A1, and Strv 122B+. All in all, there are 11 new ground vehicles in the game.

Last but not the least, new ships have been added to the tech trees of no less than six nations, while air battles can now take place in the skies of the Kamchatka-inspired Volcano Valley map. Logins made via WT Mobile are now being added to the streak on the PC version. New achievements, mechanics, graphics effects and other minor tweaks and fixes have been introduced with today's update as well. All the changes are detailed in the official changelog, as usual.
