MWC 2023 | Xiaomi Watch S1 Pro launches globally with stainless steel case and 14 days of battery life

Xiaomi has finally introduced the Watch S1 Pro in other markets, having released the smartwatch six months ago in China. Unsurprisingly, the Watch S1 Pro is the same smartwatch that debuted in August 2022, with a 1.47-inch AMOLED display set within a 46 x 46 x 11.28 mm chassis that weighs 48.5 g excluding a strap. The Watch S1 Pro continues to come in two finishes too, both with stainless steel cases. As Xiaomi's marketing images show, one has a black fluoro rubber strap, while the other makes do with a brown leather equivalent.

Additionally, Xiaomi claims that the 480 x 480-pixel display peaks at 500 nits and is protected by sapphire glass with an anti-fingerprint coating. The Watch S1 Pro also remains 5 ATM water resistant with Bluetooth 5.2 and BLE support. Meanwhile, its 500 mAh battery should provide up to 14 days of use between charges, although the device's reliance on a proprietary OS rather than Wear OS may play a part in the impressive quoted runtimes.

As expected, the Watch S1 Pro retails for €299.99 in the Eurozone, €120 more than the Watch S1 Active and €70 more than the Watch S1. Surprisingly, the Watch S1 Pro costs £299 in the UK, which equates to €339 at current exchange rates. By contrast, the Xiaomi 13 Lite is more expensive in the UK than in the Eurozone, while the reverse is true for the Xiaomi 13 Pro. Please see Xiaomi's website for more details.
