A concept image of a Hasselblad camera grip with add-on optics (see above) published by Weibo user "Camera-possessed" has been officially confirmed by Zhou Yibao, product manager for the Find series. For the first time, a kind of camera grip with dockable optics directly from Hasselbad will be available not only for the Find X9 Ultra, expected in 2026, but also for the Oppo Find X9 Pro. According to the Weibo user's information, it will also be easier to use thanks to magnets than previous snap-on camera kits from manufacturers such as Xiaomi and Vivo.
Since the teleconverter lens also comes from Hasselblad, the quality is also expected to be good. In practice, this is likely to be a similar concept to the Vivo X200 Ultra, whose 85mm equivalent telephoto lens is extended to an optical focal length of 200mm by means of an external lens. According to earlier indications, the Oppo Find X9 Pro will only have a telephoto camera, unlike the Oppo Find X8 Pro, but is likely to deliver higher quality thanks to a 200 MP sensor and around 3x zoom.
Although the Oppo manager did not officially provide any details about the camera kit and stressed that the final product would not correspond to the design shown in the concept photo above, he did confirm that a camera solution for the Oppo Find X9 Pro is in development. Video accessories are also planned for the Oppo Find X9 base model, but it remains unclear whether these will include external lenses. It is also unclear whether these Hasselblad accessories will be offered globally for the Oppo Find X9 launch, which is set to take place very soon.
