Sightings of two unreleased Motorola smartphones have emerged online after the company launched the Edge 60 Neo last week. This time, Android Headlines has discovered new images of the Moto G 2026, which last surfaced in May alongside the Moto G Power 2026.
This time, the Moto G 2026 has reappeared with the Moto G Play 2026. Building on spring's leak, the new images of the Moto G 2026 reiterate that it retains its predecessor's overall design but with a few tweaks. For instance, the 2026 edition maintains a 6.7-inch panel size with the same 720p panel used inside the Moto G 2025.
According to Android Headlines the Moto G Play 2026 shares the same display, which also delivers 1,000 nits peak brightness and a 120 Hz refresh rate, but is protected by the relatively old Corning Gorilla Glass 3. A MediaTek Dimensity 6300 will power both smartphones, which is the same 6 nm chipset found in this year's Moto G 2025 (curr. $174.99 on Amazon).
Apparently, 4 GB of RAM will return too, as will 128 GB of expandable UFS 2.2 flash storage, but only 64 GB of storage for the Moto G Play 2026. Android Headlines adds that both handsets will benefit from a 5,200 mAh battery, albeit with 30 W charging for the Moto G 2026 and 18 W charging for the Moto G Play 2026. Meanwhile, the former is set to feature superior cameras like 32 MP front-facing and 50 MP primary sensors. By contrast, the Moto G Play 2026 drops to 8 MP front-facing and 32 MP primary cameras. Unfortunately, pricing and availability remain unknown at this stage.
