Xiaomi Redmi Note 15 Pro and Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus spotted before global releases

Leaker Sudhanshu Ambhore has come across a new set of certification documents relating to two of Xiaomi's upcoming global Redmi smartphone releases. To recap, Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 15, Redmi Note 15 Pro and Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus simultaneously in China last month. While those three are expected to be available outside Xiaomi's home market at some stage, it seems unlikely that the Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus Satellite Messaging Version will receive the same treatment.

Now, Ambhore has discovered Xiaomi quietly certifying the 25080RABDG, 25080RABDT, 2510ERA8BG and 2510ERA8BT with the TÜV SÜD in Singapore. For reference, 25080RABDG and 25080RABDT are regional variants of the same device, as are 2510ERA8BG and 2510ERA8BT. Although neither PSB certification confirms as much, 25080RABDG and 25080RABDT are the global and Thai versions of the Redmi Note 15 Pro, respectively. Given that Xiaomi is also developing a Redmi Note 15 Pro 4G, we suspect that Xiaomi will offer the Redmi Note 15 Pro as the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G outside China.

Meanwhile, 2510ERA8BG and 2510ERA8BT relate to the global and Thai versions of the Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus. Based on recent leaks, Xiaomi will vary at least the global version of the Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus from the model it offers in China, just like the Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus (curr. $377 on Amazon) before it. Currently, the Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus will launch globally with a 6,500 mAh battery that supports 100 W wired charging and a Samsung ISOCELL S5KHPE primary camera. Conversely, the OmniVision OV50M telephoto camera from the Chinese model will be omitted altogether.
