Earlier this week, Vivo executive Han Bo Xiao indicated that Vivo has no plans to release an X300 Pro mini. Instead, the executive claimed that the Vivo X300 would effectively replace its current compact flagship just as leakers had previously suggested.
Now, Han Bo Xiao has gone further by sharing more details about the Vivo X300 and its similarities with the X200 Pro mini. Discussed in a lengthy Weibo post, Han Bo Xiao claims that the Vivo X300 will line up with even slimmer bezels than those on the X200 Pro mini. Based on a previous teaser, these will not undercut those of the existing iPhone 16 Pro by a tangible degree though (curr. $745 - refurbished on Amazon).
The same executive reiterates that the Vivo X300 will feature BOE's new Q10 Plus AMOLED display, which delivers a 120 Hz variable refresh rate and an even more accurate ultrasonic fingerprint sensor than those Vivo used on older flagships. Allegedly, the Vivo X300 utilises a 17% larger vapour chamber cooling solution than the X200 Pro mini too, although this is only said to yield a 12% higher overall thermal conductivity.
As expected, Vivo has also installed a USB 3.2 Type-C port, which leakers like Yogesh Brar believe will provide up to 90 W wired charging for the device's 6,200 mAh battery. Apparently, 200 MP primary, 50 MP telephoto, 50 MP ultra-wide and 50 MP selfie cameras are onboard, all protected by IP69 water and dust resistance.
