MediaTek will present the Dimensity 9500 before the end of the month. The flagship chipset will rival Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and Apple's new A19 Pro and has now made its debut on AnTuTu aboard the Vivo X300 Pro.
As shared officially by Vivo executive Han Boxiao on Weibo, the Dimensity 9500-powered Vivo X300 Pro earned an impressive total score of 4,011,9312 on AnTuTu. There are two caveats, however. For one, this score was recorded on AnTuTu's newly released V11 beta and so isn't directly comparable to phones tested on V10 of the benchmark. There's also the fact that pre-release AnTuTu scores are typically higher than end-users manage to achieve on their devices.
According to AnTuTu's official V11 chart, the Vivo X300 Pro represents a superb 40% jump in overall performance compared to last year's Vivo X200 Pro. That phone is equipped with a Dimensity 9400 and listed with a total score of 2,884,401. For some perspective, the most powerful Android device on the chart, RedMagic's Snapdragon 8 Elite Leading Version-powered 10S Pro, scores 3,319,408.
While there are still no official AnTuTu V11 score breakdowns, leaker Digital Chat Station claims the Dimensity 9400 scores about 850,000 on the CPU side, and around 1,000,000 on the GPU side. The Vivo X300 Pro manages 1,043,247 and 1,510,982 in those departments comparatively, indicating a respectable 22% CPU uplift and a hefty 51% GPU upgrade.
