HP has introduced a limited-edition Valorant version of the Omen 35L gaming desktop. It comes with a special design that's made possible through collaboration with Riot Games, and the company says that every detail of the PC aims to "connect back to the game and the players who power it."
As for the differences from the regular version, the Omen 35L Valorant Edition comes with a navy and red chassis. It sports spray patterns, and the outer shell has design details from the game. HP also includes a limited-edition keychain buddy, and the inside of the chassis has a custom fan hub that comes with a render of the Spike.
Regarding the hardware, it's pretty much the same as the regular version of the Omen 35L. Of course, the CPU options are a bit limited, with HP offering the option to configure the gaming desktop with either the Intel Core i5 1440F or i7 14700F. The non-Valorant version, on the other hand, has additional Intel Arrow Lake processor options.
In terms of the GPU, the base option is the Nvidia RTX 5050, and the desktop can be configured with up to the RTX 5080. Upgradeability remains the same as well, and users can pair the CPU with up to 64 GB of DDR5 RAM and 2 TB of PCIe 4.0x4 NVMe SSD.
There's support for up to a 2 TB HDD, and users can choose an 80 Plus Gold 1000 W or 850 W PSU during the initial configuration of the gaming PC. As for the port config, it's as follows:
- 2x 5 Gbps USB Type-C
- 4x USB 2.0 Type-A
- 2x 5 Gbps USB Type-A
- 2x 10 Gbps USB Type-A
- 1x 10 Gbps USB Type-C
- 1x Ethernet
For wireless connectivity, the Omen 35L Valorant Edition comes with a wireless card that can offer up to WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. Other highlights include three aRGB fans, support for 5.1-channel audio, and a motherboard with the Intel Z790H chipset. This limited-edition gaming PC starts at $1,899.99 in the official store and is expected to be available at Best Buy.
