Deal | Epic Games Store is offering two free games for Android and iOS gamers this week
Late last week, information emerged relating to Epic Games' next free mobile game. As we noted at the time, Redditor u/MeguminShiro implied that the storefront would be replacing Monument Valley with its direct successor (curr. $4.99 on Amazon). While that rumour was accurate, it did not tell the full story of this week's giveaway for Android and iOS.
Instead, the Epic Games Store has also decided to offer The Battle of Polytopia across both platforms. For context, The Battle of Polytopia and Monument Valley 2 are two of the three games being given away on Windows and macOS this week, too. Please note that while The Battle of Polytopia typically costs $14.99 on Windows and macOS, the game's developers offer it for free on Android and iOS.
By contrast, Monument Valley 2 costs $3.99 on Android and iOS each. In other words, this week's mobile giveaway is worth $7.98 when redeemed simultaneously via this instant checkout link. As it stands, Monument Valley 2 has achieved a 4.6/5 rating on the Apple App Store but 4.9/5 on the Google Play Store. Meanwhile, The Battle of Polytopia averages similar ratings on both platforms.
