New PS5 Slim bundle launches on Black Friday with introductory discount, according to leaker
After Billbil-kun had already predicted the prices for the PlayStation anniversary collection, the well-known leaker has now revealed that Sony will be launching a new PS5 Slim bundle on the occasion of Black Friday. Following the release of a bundle with NBA 2K25 in September, this time Fortnite fans will get their money's worth.
As Billlbil-kun reports on Dealabs (in French), the bundle will include the PlayStation 5 Slim - with or without a drive - as well as eight Fortnite skins and 1,000 V-Bucks to spend in-game. The console is not expected to feature a unique design - there's no indication of this, and it wasn’t the case with the NBA 2K25 bundle either.
The bundles are expected to be priced at the RRP (Recommended Retail Price) for the respective PS5 Slim versions - around $450 (£390) for the digital edition and $550 (£480) for the version with a disc drive. However, as Billbil-kun reports, there will be an introductory discount of $75 (£75). Despite this, the console won’t necessarily be offered at the lowest price, as the digital version is regularly available for around £340, according to the price comparison site Idealo. Nevertheless, the bundle should still appeal to Fortnite fans and collectors.
Black Friday, which falls on the fourth Thursday of November each year, will be on November 29 this year. According to Billbil-kun, the introductory promotion with a $75 discount will run for at least 2 weeks.
