Xbox Game Pass Wave 2 brings major titles like Black Ops 6, MechWarrior 5, and more, starting October 16

The second half of October 2024 will be a good time for Xbox Game Pass subscribers, with Wave 2 bringing a number of action-packed blockbusters and fan-favorites. Headlining the list is Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, which will be available on Day One for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass users on October 25. Modern Warfare III and Warzone will also join the lineup on the same day, available across cloud, console, and PC.

South Park: The Fractured but Whole - Available on October 16, this RPG will continue with the chaotic adventures of Stan, Kyle, Cartman, and Kenny over from South Park: The Stick of Truth. Available for Game Pass Ultimate, PC, and cloud, the game adds a comedic twist on top of superhero storytelling.

Dead Island 2 - The fan-favorite zombie-slaying action game (with a 73 Metacritic score) will be available for PC Game Pass Ultimate on October 31. Set in a fictionalized Los Angeles, players must survive hordes of undead in a visceral, open-world setting.

MechWarrior 5: Clans - Coming October 17, this day one release on Game Pass allows players to lead a squad of Smoke Jaguar pilots through tactical, action-packed missions. It will be accessible across cloud, console, and PC.

Other notable mentions from the list include Ashen, StarCraft Remastered and StarCraft II: Campaign Collection, arriving on November 5. At the same time, a few games will be leaving the Game Pass library on October 31, including Frog Detective, Headbangers, and Lonely Mountain’s Downhill.
