The Xbox Series X All-Digital edition is now available to buy, but Amazon's got a better offer on the disc version
Back in June, Microsoft announced the Xbox Series X All-Digital edition, a variant of the Xbox Series X without a disc drive. Starting today, interested buyers can now purchase one. The new Xbox Series X All-Digital is also available in a new color - Robot White - like the Xbox Series S. However, we won't be surprised if Microsoft were to announce a Carbon Black variant in the future. The cheaper and less-powerful Xbox Series S launched in Robot White but Microsoft announced a 1TB version that is available in Carbon Black.

The Xbox Series X All Digital Edition is priced at $449 which is $50 less than the model with a disc drive and $150 cheaper than the 2TB Edition. It is available to buy from the Xbox store, Amazon, and Best Buy. The digital edition has 1TB of storage too, comes with a matching white Xbox Wireless Controller, and even ships in a new retail box.
Unlike Sony which sells an optional disc drive for the PS5 Digital Edition console, Microsoft isn't offering that, at least for now. This means buyers are stuck with only digital downloads of their favorite games. If that sounds like a bummer and you'd rather want the option of being able to play physical games, then you can pick up a disc drive edition for the same price.
Amazon has the Xbox Series X (with a drive) for the same $449 price tag, but the caveat is that it is an Amazon Renewed product or a refurbished unit. It is graded as being in Excellent Condition, and according to Amazon, this means that it has no scratches, no visible cosmetic damage, and is fully functional. Although, it comes with a 90-day guarantee unlike items in premium condition which have a 1-year guarantee. It is also sold and shipped by Amazon.
