Epic Games is giving away game from developers of Worms series but only for a short time
The Epic Games Store has just kicked off this week's free game giveaway, details of which we have covered separately. However, it has also revealed its plans for its next free game offering ahead of schedule. For context, the storefront will not be providing any other free games until next week.
Specifically, Epic Games has confirmed that its next free game will be available to download at 15:00 UTC on October 24, as has become the case for its weekly giveaway service. According to the storefront's website, it will return to giving away only a single game rather than two, which has become common in the last few weeks.
The game in question is Moving Out, which Team17 published in 2020 to favourable reviews. To that end, the game averages 79/100 on Metacritic and won the best gameplay award at the Australian Game Developer Awards in the year of its release. Incidentally, Moving Out comes from the same publisher behind classic titles like Worms Armageddon, which is receiving an Anniversary Collector's Edition later this year (curr. $49.99 on Amazon).
For reference, Team17 describes Moving Out in the following terms:
Moving Out is a ridiculous physics-based moving simulator that brings new meaning to "couch co-op"! As a newly certified Furniture Arrangement & Relocation Technician, you'll take on moving jobs all across the busy town of Packmore.
