Zenless Zone Zero Version 3.2 launches Sept 9 with new Armorer class

Zenless Zone Zero enters maintenance for Version 3.2, "Their Secret Histories," at 6:00 (UTC+8) on September 9, 2026, the scheduled close of Version 3.1, "The Long Goodbye." HoYoverse has not yet posted an official 3.2 maintenance notice, but the studio's typical five-hour downtime window would put servers back online around 11:00 (UTC+8), matching past version launches. 

A pre-download client is expected on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, iOS, and Android in the days before maintenance, letting Proxies queue the update files and cut wait time once servers return.

What arrives with the update

Version 3.2 brings the content HoYoverse detailed during its August 28 special program into the live game. The patch introduces Armorer, a new agent specialty built around DEF-scaling damage, with agents building up Gash on enemies that triggers the Maim effect once fully stacked. Claret, an S-Rank Electric Agent and head of the newly introduced Flint Workshop faction, is the first Armorer character and headlines Phase 1 on the "Bloodmoon Rising" banner, alongside a rerun for Nangong Yu, the S-Rank Ether Stun Agent and leader of the Angels of Delusion. Phase 2 follows on September 30 with Roxy, an S-Rank Wind Stun Agent and Claret's Flint Workshop assistant, on the "Cindernight Respite" banner.

The Version 3.2 main story sends Proxies to Vyrium, a zone within the Shrouded Reef and part of Roscaelifer, where a missing Flint Workshop shipment leads to the discovery that the organization TOPS has infiltrated the region.

Rewards and events for launch week

Logging in during the version period grants a cumulative 10 Encrypted Master Tapes and 10 Boopons. Proxies can also work toward two free Angels of Delusion faction outfits through the 14-day "Surprise Screening Plan" check-in and the "Clink, Clank, Pinball Knight!" Challenge Mode event, both running across Versions 3.2 and 3.3. HoYoverse has additionally confirmed an Armorer-exclusive VR training stage and further optimizations to Hollow Zero and Shiyu Defense for the update.

Players who reach Inter-Knot Level 4 or higher before maintenance begins are typically compensated with Polychrome once servers return, based on past version updates, though the exact figure for 3.2 has not been confirmed.
