The Xiaomi Xring O1 is Xiaomi's first own SoC for smartphones and tablets. The chip integrates 10 ARM-based cores in 4 clusters. Xiaomi uses two ARM Cortex-X925 Prime cores with boost clock speeds of up to 3.9 GHz and four Cortex-A725 Performance cores with clock speeds of up to 3.4 GHz. Two Cortex-A725 and two Cortex-A520 cores, each of which only achieve very low clock rates of less than 2 GHz, act as efficiency cores.
The CPU performance in our benchmarks was slightly above that of a Dimensity 9400 in the top class, but has to compete with the Snapdragon 8 Elite has to admit defeat.
The chip supports Wi-Fi 7, fast UFS 4.1 flash memory, LPDDR5T RAM and USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 with data rates of up to 10 Gbit/s.
The Xiaomi XRing O1 measures 109 mm² and is manufactured by TSMC using a second-generation 3 nm process.
