SteelSeries Aeon Pro is the world’s first Xbox/PC QuickSwitch controller with infinite battery

SteelSeries has been making controllers for some time now, but it has never ventured into the home console space until now. The Aeon Pro is the first flagship controller that works with Xbox and PC, as well as mobile devices. More interestingly, it comes with what SteelSeries is calling the world’s first PC to Xbox QuickSwitch Dock.
SteelSeries Aeon Pro controller features
With the QuickSwitch Dock, those who have both an Xbox and PC can instantly switch between the two without repairing or reconnecting. The company emphasises that it has a patent pending for the QuickSwitch Dock. Much like the hub that comes with the Arctis Nova Pro headset lineup, the Aeon Pro controller and QuickSwitch Dock support the Infinite Battery System with the same batteries.
As for the controller itself, the Aeon Pro offers tri-mode connectivity, a 3.5mm audio jack, Hall effect thumbsticks and triggers, mechanical face buttons, and an OLED display. The triggers support full-range and hair-trigger modes (mechanical micro switches). The OLED Smart Display allows for switching devices, choosing profiles, remapping buttons, checking battery levels, and more. There are also four paddles on the back.
SteelSeries claims up to 25 hours of battery life on 2.4 GHz and 28 hours on Bluetooth, but do note that those numbers include both batteries. The controller ships with concave, convex, standard, and long thumbsticks. It weighs 310 grams, a fair bit heavier than the standard Xbox controller but still lighter than the Xbox Elite controller.
