Lenovo releases new desktop PC with 120 Hz display, 32 GB RAM and Intel Wildcat Lake
Last week, Lenovo introduced multiple new devices as part of its IFA 2026 showcase in Berlin. As it stands, many of those will remain unavailable for the foreseeable future. However, the company is already selling the Yoga Tab Gen 2 and Yoga Tab Plus Gen 2 in multiple countries, despite unveiling them only last week.
Additionally, Lenovo is now selling an updated ThinkCentre Neo 50a too. Specifically, the company has released the 24-inch variant that it unveiled in early August rather than its 27-inch counterpart. For context, the ThinkCentre Neo 50a was previously sold with Intel's Lunar Lake and Raptor Lake-H processors (curr. $849 on Amazon).
By contrast, Lenovo's new Gen 7 model has switched to the Wildcat Lake architecture in the form of the Core 3 304, Core 5 320 or Core 7 350. By default, the ThinkCentre Neo 50a 24 Gen 7 starts with the Core 3 304, a 5-core processor, 8 GB of LPDDR5X-7467 RAM and 256 GB of SSD. Alternatively, Lenovo offers the Core 5 320 and Core 7 350 with 16 GB or 32 GB of LPDDR5X-7467 RAM and 1 TB of M.2 2280 SSD.
Moreover, the ThinkCentre Neo 50a Gen 7 comes with non-touch and touchscreen versions of a 23.8-inch IPS display with a 1,920 x 1,080-pixel resolution, 350 nits peak brightness and a 120 Hz refresh rate. On top of that, the all-in-one (AiO) desktop can be configured with Bluetooth 5.4 and Wi-Fi 7 connectivity. By default, Lenovo includes a Bluetooth 5.1 and Wi-Fi 6-capable modem, though.
The ThinkCentre Neo 50a 24 Gen 7 starts at between €999 and €1,120 in the Eurozone. Meanwhile, Lenovo charges £940, HKD 10,908, MYR 5,849 and SGD 1,747 (~$1,380) in the UK, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore, respectively. Please see Lenovo's website for more details.
