Lenovo releases premium tablet with 4K 144 Hz display, Dimensity 9500s and 11,000 mAh battery

Lenovo's Yoga Tab Gen 2 is now available through the official stores in several US and European markets following its IFA 2026 debut, where the company also unveiled the Yoga Tab Plus Gen 2.

Lenovo lists the Yoga Tab Gen 2 at $729.99 in the US and £559 in the UK for the 8 GB/256 GB configuration. In Europe, the same configuration costs €649 in Italy and Spain, while the German and Dutch stores list it at around €649. It is priced at SEK 7,019 in Sweden, NOK 7,019 in Norway and CHF 609 in Switzerland.

The tablet has an 11.1-inch LTPS display, which is less power-efficient than LTPO panels that can dynamically adjust their refresh rate. It has a 3,840 x 2,560-pixel resolution and a 3:2 aspect ratio, along with a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz and 1,100 nits of peak brightness. Lenovo lists 98% DCI-P3 coverage, Dolby Vision and a pixel density of 415 ppi.

It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9500s processor, paired with up to 12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256 GB of storage. Lenovo offers 8 GB/128 GB, 8 GB/256 GB and 12 GB/256 GB configurations. A microSD card slot supports up to 2 TB of additional storage.

In our comparison, the Dimensity 9500s is behind Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite. It averages around 81% of the Snapdragon's performance across the listed tests, reaching 88% of its Geekbench 6 single-core score, 89% in multi-core and 92% in AnTuTu v10. The Yoga Tab Plus Gen 2 uses the faster Snapdragon 8 Elite, while the Yoga Tab Gen 2 weighs around 480 grams (1.06 lb).

The OnePlus Pad 3 (available on Amazon) has a larger 13.2-inch 3.4K 144 Hz display and uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite, giving it an advantage in screen size and processor performance over the Yoga Tab Gen 2.

The tablet has an 11,000 mAh battery and supports 68 W charging. It has four speakers, a 13 MP rear camera and an 8 MP front camera paired with a 0.3 MP auxiliary sensor. Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0 are supported, while the USB-C port provides charging and DisplayPort output.

Lenovo supports the Tab Pen Pro 2 and an optional 2-in-1 keyboard. The stylus supports 8,192 levels of pressure sensitivity. Lenovo's software includes AI Note, Live Transcript, Smart AI Input and AI Creation Tools.

Android 17 comes preinstalled, with Lenovo promising seven OS upgrades through Android 24 and seven years of security updates through 2033.

The tablet measures 250.6 x 172.98 x 6.2 mm (9.87 x 6.81 x 0.24 inches), with the camera bump bringing the maximum thickness to 8.56 mm (0.34 inches). It is available in Cosmic Blue and Seashell, depending on the market.
