There have been plenty of rumours about the state of Lenovo's handheld gaming division of late. However, it seems that Lenovo could be planning to introduce more than just a cheaper gaming handheld. To recap, in recent weeks, attention has been focused on the Legion Go S, codenamed 8ARP1.
With that being said, there has been prior evidence that Lenovo has also developed the Legion Go 8AHP2 and Legion Go 8ASP2 as second-generation successors to the existing Legion Go (curr. $499 on Amazon). Now, Evan Blass has shared fresh images of the Legion Go S, as well as what he describes as the 'Legion Glasses 2'. For reference, Lenovo introduced first-generation Legion smart glasses last year alongside the original Legion Go.
Unfortunately, Blass has not shared any technical details. Nonetheless, the Legion Glasses 2 sport a completely different design that resembles classic aviator sunglasses. Additionally, the Glasses 2 appear to feature built-in speakers and a single USB Type-C port embedded within its left earpiece.
By contrast, technical details about the Legion Go S are already known. In summary, the device will launch with an 8-inch and 1200p display, along with a 55 Wh battery, 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and an AMD Ryzen Z2 GO APU. Incidentally, the latter will contain eight Zen 3+ CPU cores and a Radeon 680M iGPU. Blass' latest leak confirms that Lenovo will sell the Legion Go S in black and white colours, which was unknown until now.
