Lenovo has released a new 15-inch gaming laptop internationally. Launching globally too, the LOQ Essential 15ARP11 combines a 144 Hz display with up to the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 laptop GPU, a battery rated for over 12 hours of usage and a choice of AMD Ryzen processors.

Less than a year has passed since Lenovo launched the LOQ Essential 15ARP10 with AMD Zen 3+ based Rembrandt Refresh processors. Then earlier this week, we spotted the company releasing a LOQ Essential Gen 11 gaming laptop with updated Intel Raptor Lake-H Refresh processors. Also, Lenovo is now selling an AMD alternative called the LOQ Essential 15ARP11.

According to the company's PSREF website, the laptop should start with the Ryzen 5 150 in Europe. The same website confirms that the LOQ Essential 15ARP11 will be released globally, too. For the time being, Europe has only received Ryzen 7 170 options for now with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage, as has Oceania and Southeast Asia. While both Zen 3+ processors, the Ryzen 7 170 scores over 20% higher in our benchmarks than the Ryzen 5 150.

Nonetheless, these processors provide the LOQ Essential 15ARP11 with roughly the same CPU performance as its predecessor. A few key differences separate the former from the latter, though. For instance, Lenovo has swapped the GeForce RTX 3050, GeForce RTX 3050A and GeForce RTX 4050 for newer RTX 50 series laptop GPUs. Specifically, Lenovo pairs the Ryzen 7 170 with the GeForce RTX 5050 or GeForce RTX 5060, which bring 8 GB of GDD7 VRAM to the table too, albeit only with 65 W TGPs apiece.

Still, these GPUs see the LOQ Essential 15ARP11 rival the LOQ Essential 15IRX11 in terms of GPU performance (curr. $1,399 on Amazon). Moreover, Lenovo's Gen 11 model contains a larger battery than its Gen 10 counterpart. Upgraded from 57.5 Wh to 60 Wh, this new battery is said to last over 22% longer when playing 1080p local videos at 12.9 hours versus 10.5 hours. Seemingly, the same 1080p display returns though, with 300 nits peak brightness, a 144 Hz refresh rate and 100% sRGB colour space coverage.

The LOQ Essential 15ARP11 starts with the GeForce RTX 5050 at AUD 2,799, HKD 9,959, MYR 5,577, NZD 2,649, and SGD 1,838 in Australia, Hong Kong, Malaysia, New Zealand and Singapore, respectively. Meanwhile, the laptop costs between €1,599 and €1,809 in the Eurozone, plus £1,360 (~$1,850) in the UK, including VAT. Currently, Lenovo charges £80/€100 for the GeForce RTX 5060. Please see the company's website for more details.
