Humain has offered a first proper look at its upcoming Horizon Ultra laptop, confirming Snapdragon X2 Elite hardware and teasing an operating system supposedly designed around agentic AI. Developed with Qualcomm over the past year, the laptop will be detailed further at the upcoming LEAP technology conference in Riyadh.

Saudi Arabian AI company Humain has teased its upcoming Horizon Ultra laptop, giving us a first proper look at the Snapdragon-powered machine ahead of a larger reveal at LEAP, a major annual technology conference held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The laptop has reportedly been in development with Qualcomm for the past year and could arrive alongside a heretofore unseen operating system supposedly built with agentic AI in mind.

Humain previously confirmed that an Ultra model was in development alongside its Horizon Pro laptop, and CEO Tareq Amin said last year it would use Qualcomm's Snapdragon X2 platform. The new teaser now shows an actual Horizon Ultra bearing a Snapdragon X2 Elite badge, although the exact processor SKU and configuration remain unknown.According to Amin, Humain and Qualcomm have been designing the company's "next generation" AI PC around local AI workloads, using the processor's CPU, GPU and NPU to run models directly on the device.

However, Amin suggests that the hardware itself isn't the most significant part of the upcoming product. Instead, Humain appears to be developing an operating system intended specifically for agentic AI. The hardware shown in the teaser uses a relatively cookie-cutter silver/grey chassis with Humain branding on the lid. The bottom features a large ventilation grille spanning much of the laptop's width, while one side appears to house two USB-C ports and a 3.5 mm audio jack. The teaser also shows a large trackpad and a bilingual Arabic/Latin keyboard.

Another notable addition is a dedicated key bearing Humain's company logo. Its precise function hasn't been detailed, but its placement and the company's emphasis on agentic AI suggest it could provide direct access to Humain's software or AI features. Think of it like a Copilot button of sorts. Humain previously said the Horizon Ultra would feature always-connected 5G alongside its Snapdragon X2 hardware, although the latest teaser doesn't explicitly show or advertise cellular connectivity of any kind. Other specifications, including the display, memory, storage and battery capacity, remain under wraps, but given the world we're living in, even 64 GB RAM seems like a pipe dream.
