Dell releases new 15-inch laptop internationally with AMD Ryzen processors and up to 32 GB RAM

Dell continues to expand its budget laptop division with new models. Yesterday, we reported that the company had released a new 14-inch laptop in the form of the Dell 14 D14261 to rival the MacBook Neo (curr. $689 on Amazon). Simultaneously, the company began selling a 15.3-inch alternative with the same Intel Wildcat Lake processors.
As it turns out, Dell also launched the Dell 14 D14265 in Oceania and Southeast Asia. Additionally, the company has complemented this 14-inch laptop with a 15.3-inch alternative. Mirroring its 14-inch counterpart, the Dell 15 D15266 is only available in selected markets. However, Dell's website indicates that the 15.3-inch laptop will eventually launch elsewhere, including in the US.
Setting that aside, the Dell 15 D15266 contains the same 54 Wh battery as the Dell 14 D14265. Also, the 15.3-inch laptop features a 1200p IPS display with a 16:10 aspect ratio. While this larger display peaks at 400 nits too, it drops from a 120 Hz refresh rate to just 60 Hz. Upgradeable RAM and storage remain though, with DDR5-5600 RAM and M.2 2230 SSDs supported.
The Dell 15 D15266 starts at AUD 1,079 and NZD 1,248 (~$740) in Australia and New Zealand with a Ryzen 3 210, 8 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. By contrast, Dell charges AUD 1,090, HKD 7,599, MYR 3,739, NZD 1,261 and SGD 1,378 (~$1,083) in Australia, Hong Kong, Malaysia, New Zealand and Singapore with the more powerful Ryzen 5 220 and the same memory configuration. The Ryzen 7 250 is also available in Hong Kong and Singapore for HKD 9,899 and SGD 1,874 (~$1,473), with 16 GB, 24 GB, or 32 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage sold in most markets, too.
