Asus releases 16-inch gaming laptop globally with Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 and 1,100-nit OLED displays

Asus has finally released the latest version of the ROG Zephyrus Duo globally. Announced in January, the ROG Zephyrus Duo (2026) GX651 was one of several laptops that Asus brought to CES 2026 in Las Vegas. Initially, Asus hoped to release its dual-screen gaming laptop between April and June with a pair of 120 Hz and 1,100-nit OLED displays.
However, the company quietly began selling the device in March within Canada and the UK. A further six weeks or so passed before Asus opened orders in the US with a choice between Nvidia's GeForce RTX 5070 Ti and GeForce RTX 5090 laptop GPUs (curr. $5,499 on Amazon). While the two variants differ massively in GPU performance, both contain identical Core Ultra 9 386H processors.
Now, the ROG Zephyrus Duo (2026) GX651 has landed in the Eurozone. Completing its global rollout, the ROG Zephyrus Duo was already available in other markets too, like Australia. Currently, the laptop broadly starts at €4,999 in the Eurozone. For that price, Asus includes a Core Ultra 9 386H processor, a GeForce RTX 5070 Ti laptop GPU, 32 GB of RAM and 1 TB of PCIe Gen 5 storage.
By contrast, pricing for GeForce RTX 5090-backed models varies wildly across the Eurozone. For instance, this variant retails for €6,499 in Spain with 64 GB of RAM and 2 TB SSD upgrades, too. In comparison, Asus charges €200 more for the same configuration in Germany. Stranger still, France has received an identical model, but priced at €8,199.
