New Casio Kanoa Igarashi watch with heart rate monitor now available in US

Last month, Casio unveiled the GBX-H5600KI-5 watch in collaboration with pro surfer Kanoa Iagarashi in Japan. The launch marks the fourth collaboration between G-Shock and Olympic silver medalist Igarashi—something rarely seen in Casio’s collaboration history. The GBX-H5600KI-5 Kanoa Igarashi model is now officially available for purchase in the US via Casio’s official website for $370.
The design of the GBX-H5600KI-5 Kanoa Igarashi watch is inspired by Ericeira, the Portuguese surf town, which is one of Igarashi’s home training bases. The watch has a dark brown marbled casing complemented by lavender accent text and hues. Another notable design element is the signature of the Kanoa Igarashi, which sits below the watch display. Plus, you can also see his WSL bib number “50” printed on the bio-based resin strap. The watch ships in special ocean-themed packaging.
According to Casio, the GBX-H5600KI-5's carbon fiber-reinforced resin case back is 18 grams lighter than the previous model. Practical features include Polar-powered training analysis, blood oxygen measurement, heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking, Tough Solar charging, and tide graph function. Plus, the watch also has Casio Watches' companion app support, which further enables several features, automatic time adjustment, and more.
Casio’s latest Kanoa Igarashi watch supports world time across 38 time zones. Other Casio-exclusive features include a 1-second stopwatch, a countdown timer, 4 daily alarms, a battery level indicator, 200 m (20 bar) water resistance, a full auto calendar (up to 2099), and an LED backlight with afterglow.
