Leak reveals affordable Xiaomi Redmi Watch 6 Lite and Active

After rumors in July had already revealed many details about the two more affordable variants of the Redmi Watch 6, GSMArena was able to locate both the Redmi Watch 6 Lite and the Redmi Watch 6 Active on the Hungarian price comparison site Arukereso, while Amazon already started selling the smartwatches in the U.S.
This leak reveals the design, prices, and key features. According to Amazon, the Redmi Watch 6 Lite costs $75.99, while the Redmi Watch 6 Active is priced at $66.49. The Redmi Watch 6 Lite features a 1.96-inch OLED display with a resolution of 502 x 410 pixels, a 9.9-millimeter-thick case that’s water-resistant up to 5 ATM, a heart rate and SpO2 sensor, and built-in speakers and microphones.
The more expensive model also features a built-in GPS module to track the distance covered while running and cycling, even when you’re not carrying a smartphone. This GPS module is not included in the more affordable Redmi Watch 6 Active, and the highly precise nine-axis motion sensor is also exclusive to the Lite model. Neither of the two smartwatches features an NFC chip.
The Redmi Watch 6 Active makes do with a slightly smaller 1.85-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 450 x 390 pixels. However, the entry-level model is also expected to feature a heart rate and SpO2 sensor and offer more than 140 sport modes. It is not yet known exactly when the Redmi Watch 6 Lite and the Redmi Watch 6 Active will be officially unveiled by Xiaomi.
