Casio’s new F-B100W watches bring Bluetooth and step tracking to the classic F-91W design
Casio’s Bluetooth-equipped F-B100W series is set to launch in the UK, with teal and black models listed at £55. The compact watch modernizes the classic F-91W design with step tracking, smartphone connectivity, activity logging, and two-year battery life.

Casio’s highly anticipated F-B100W series has finally started rolling out outside Japan, and the first market to get the new Bluetooth-equipped models is the UK.

Casio UK’s online store has the teal F-B100W-3A and black F-B100W-1A listed as “available soon.” Both models are priced at £55, and you can sign up to receive an email alert when they go on sale. There’s no word yet on exactly when they’ll be available to buy or pre-order, although, based on Casio’s recent rollouts, that could happen within the next few days. The F-B100W-1B with a negative display is nowhere to be found, though it’s possible it will arrive at a later date.

If you ever wished there was an F-91W with a few modern features, the F-B100W offers exactly that, combining Bluetooth connectivity and step tracking with one of the most iconic and instantly recognizable watch designs ever.

The watch retains the F-91W’s compact, lightweight formula, measuring 41.9 x 38.1 x 8.8mm and weighing just 26 grams. It also gets a resin case, bio-based resin band, LED backlight, stopwatch, countdown timer, five daily alarms, and water resistance.

The biggest upgrade is the built-in motion sensor, which can track up to 999,999 steps and show hourly activity on a six-level graph. You can set daily step goals, and there’s a step reminder that can nudge you when the watch detects you’re not moving much. Bluetooth connectivity lets you pair the watch to your smartphone via the Casio WATCHES app and adds automatic time adjustment, roughly 300 world time cities, activity logging, and other features. Battery life is rated at around two years on a CR2016 battery, so you’re not trading the F-91W’s simplicity for smartwatch-style charging.

We still don’t know when Casio plans to bring the F-B100W series to the US, Europe, and other markets, but hopefully we won’t have to wait too long. The same goes for the F-91WF, which has so far only launched in Japan and some Asian markets.
