Xiaomi Robot Vacuum 6 series goes global with stain-detecting Pro model

Attentive readers may already be familiar with the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum 6 series. Both the standard model and the Pro variant have now appeared on the manufacturer's global website, signaling an imminent international release. Given Xiaomi’s established presence in key markets where its smart home devices are widely sold via Amazon and other major retailers, the global rollout comes as no surprise. However, official pricing and regional availability details have yet to be disclosed.
Both devices are combination vacuum-and-mop robots, but their primary selling point is the active roller mop mechanism. By continuously scraping dirty water off the roller during operation, the system avoids dragging grime back across the floor—a clear advantage when tackling larger spills. Xiaomi claims the implementation delivers virtually streak-free cleaning, even right up to baseboards and room edges. For dry debris, side brushes sweep dirt into the main intake, while the mopping roller can extend outward for edge-to-edge coverage and automatically lift when encountering short-pile carpets to prevent unwanted dampness.
The multi-functional base station handles automatic fresh water refills, hot-water mop washing, and hot-air drying to minimize manual maintenance. Upgrading to the flagship Xiaomi Robot Vacuum 6 Pro adds a retractable LiDAR navigation tower for better clearance under low furniture, along with a triple-camera AI vision system capable of recognizing and distinguishing between different types of stains. Standard smart home integration and voice control support are included across both models.
