Xiaomi launches new powerful robot vacuum with roller mop

The Xiaomi Mi Robot Vacuum and Mop 6 Pro has been launched in China. Expected to be known as the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum 6 Pro, should it launch in markets worldwide, it builds on the older Robot Vacuum 5 Pro released in 2025.
The Mi Robot Vacuum and Mop 6 Pro delivers up to 30,000 Pa suction power, with a central roller brush and dual extending arms to sweep along edges and into corners of rooms. Another upgrade is the roller mopping system with fresh water and an integrated scraper to prevent dirt from spreading across the floor. At the accompanying docking station, the mop is cleaned with 85°C (~185°F) hot water and dried with 50°C (~122°F) hot air. According to Xiaomi, the robot can recognise 47 types of stains and adjust its cleaning as necessary.
Another AI feature of the Mi Robot Vacuum and Mop 6 Pro, thanks to the onboard triple camera system, is the ability to detect and avoid 280 types of obstacles. The robot uses LiDAR to navigate your home efficiently, and the retractable sensor helps to keep the model slim. It measures 90 mm (~3.54 inches) off the floor, so it should be able to clean under low-lying furniture like a bed. It can clear obstacles measuring up to 4 cm (~1.57 inches) tall in two stages: 3 cm (~1.18 inches) and 1 cm (~0.39 inches). Plus, the model supports HyperOS Connect, with remote control options like the Xiaomi app and Xiao AI voice commands.
Xiaomi’s Mi Robot Vacuum and Mop 6 Pro currently starts from CNY 3,799 (~$554) in China for the water tank version. It remains to be seen whether or when this model could be released in other countries like Germany, where the brand released the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum 5 Pro (curr. €699.99 at Mi Store).
