New Casio metal watches with heart rate sensor now available in US

Two new Casio G-Shock Move GMH5600 series are now available in the US. These premium G-Squad watches leaked earlier this year before being officially launched in Japan in March 2026.

At Casio’s online store in the US, you can now buy the G-Shock GMH5600-1 (black/silver) and GMH5600-9 (black/gold) watches for $385 each. These two digital watches can also be purchased at the brand’s physical store in SoHo New York.

The Casio G-Shock GMH5600 Bluetooth watches have a negative (black background, light figures) memory-in-pixel (MIP) LCD. This high-resolution display can be customized via the accompanying Casio Watches app and illuminated with a backlight at the push of a button.

Designed for those with a sporty lifestyle, the GMH5600 has an optical sensor to take heart rate measurements and an accelerometer to track your step count. Thanks to the Polar smartwatch library, users can analyze their workout performance with metrics like cardio load status or monitor their sleep health. You can track your runs, walks or other activities, with the ability to log up to 100 runs, and the distance moved is corrected using the GPS from your connected smartphone. Other on-watch features include moon data, sunrise/sunset times, a 1-second stopwatch and multiple daily alarms. Plus, users can choose from 38 time zones.

Casio’s G-Shock GMH5600 watches have a stainless-steel bezel, ion-plated for the GMH5600-9, a lightweight carbon fiber-reinforced resin casing and a resin strap. These shock resistant watches are water resistant to 200 m. Plus, they can be charged via USB with a dedicated cable, topped up with solar power when you are outside. According to Casio, this model should run for around 35 hours with heart rate measurements, a month in watch mode (without heart rate), or 11 months in power-saving mode.

When these Casio G-Shock GMH5600 watches could be officially released in Europe remains to be seen.
